Before you head off to Uni - why not stock up on a multipack....

 

Whether you have just survived the first year, or whether this all seems to be a bit old hat now you have been there so long, University holidays are in full swing and we are about to tip the balance back to the downhill run to the start of another term. Now guys I know it is tempting to spend any spare cash on just a bit more socialising and chilling; and yes, I know how hard you have been working all year. Lifting those pints from bar to mouth is just killer on the arm, but I have one word for you before the cashpoint runs dry, and the bank of mum and dad shut till Christmas - Pants!

 

Men’s underwear is actually more of an important issue than you might think, we can all remember the days of life in halls and house sharing, the facilities are limited and crowded meaning you run the risk of falling foul of two key no-no’s that can seriously damage the street cred if you allow them to befall you! Firstly, running out of clean trunks or boxers, now you can be sure that this wont happen on a lazy Sunday morning when all you have to do to rectify the situation is drag yourself out of your pit and head for the nearest launderette, no - life just isn’t that kind, in fact we think it has a bit of a mean streak, as you can bet your life this will happen just as you are getting dressed for a night out with a lovely lady. Do you go out in two day old undies? Not if you want to see her again you don’t - major dating faux pax lads just don’t do it, please we beg you!

 

Secondly, shared laundry facilities, now this means you have to front up to the machine with your tatty trunks and pitiful pants going on public display, larger than life for all to see. For the love of beer have some pride man! If there are any yellow 'used to be white' boxer shorts with more than 4 holes, yes we mean holes the manufacturer didn’t put there, or fraying seams then ditch them in the bin now and clean up your undie drawer! There is a massive amount to choose from in terms of underwear for men, and as if they had you the student in mind, multipacks were created. Choose your favourite designer and save some money for a pint or two when you get back to campus! Now when you go to the laundry room you can be proud to show off your pants not be rather red faced as you try and hide them in with your jeans and tops! It makes a whole lot of sense, and if you are really clever - that bank we mentioned earlier might just help you out if you say the money is for essential clothes - yes the bank of mum and dad!
